Dope, SOiL & MM9 Australian Tour!

I'm back to put it in motion, I'm back to tell you no lies, Sit back and sip from this notion, I'm back to put it in drive! I just needed to use the opening line of "I'm Back" by Dope XD

I have returned now from my epic 3 day adventure with my mates;
It started out shopping Thursday night and seeing Avatar in 3D!!!

Friday I was in Brisbane all day and most of the night, I went and saw Dope in a small club in Brisbane review will be posted below!

and today I ended up at a PC store with my mate then his place where we took apart my PC and cleaned it out it now looks beautiful ^___^ dust free rofl, Tombstone you'd hate how much dust I let collect man haha.

and now my review or whatever about Friday nights gig! I copy and pasted from what I pasted on the Dope forums so just pretend you're a fan ;D

Quick run down of who Dope consists of;
Edsel Dope: Vocals & Guitars
Virus: Guitars and Backing Vocals
Tripp Lee: Bass and Backing Vocals
Angel Bartolotta: Drums

Tim King: Current touring Bass player and Backing Vocals (awesome player!)

Let me say this every band FUCKING ROCKED! I really loved all the bands even though I knew shit all of MM9's and Soils material but I knew EVERY word to Dopes songs :D So Dope lost all their fucking gear on the flight over Angels kit, Edsels guitars and Amps, Viruses Guitars and Amps and Tripp XD I really hope the guys get the stuff back, Soil was kind enough to lend them all their gear for the shows and their bass player XD

So Tripp hasn't left Edsel explained the sitch! As Edsel said they "lost" him at customs he was all "I can understand how you lose your gear on a plane, but how the fuck do you lose a band member!!" It fucking went off!

I met Angel and Virus, Angel hi-fived me!!!!! Me and my mate were standing outside the club and I randomly turned around and Virus was sitting down in front of the dodgy kebab place eating some pizza which he seemed disappointed in, so my mate ditched me to go width draw some cash so I would be more tempted to speak to Virus.

I said hey to Virus he said hey back and then he went back in the Club, 5 minutes later him and Angel walk out and I was all "ANGEL!" and he hi-fived me and Virus was all "Hey man" I was so fucking happy, Virus is just like a god to me when saw he was behind me I was literally shaking but I was all cool to go upto Angel and act like him and I knew each other rofl.

Edsel loved us, he asked mid show if anyone wanted to smoke Dope with Dope and then asked if anyone had a joint, some dude passed him one and he then lit up on stage and started smokin it, that was awesome. Then later on some dude was waving a lighter around and Edsels all "Dude I didn't come to Australia to be lit on fire, I can have that done back in Chicago" LOL

Then he thanked us deeply for spending our hard earned cash to come see them play, he seemed pretty touched. Also Australians are allowed to illegally download their tunes since they have no record label here and we can't get their cd's very easily =[ He was all "You're all descended from a bunch of crooks, i'm cool with you guys stealing our music and shit!"

Then there was the dude who gave Edsel his bands cd in a brown paper bag and he was all "Back home there's 2 things that come in a brown paper bag, Drugs and Porn" he then handed it to Virus and was all "Dude listen to this." haha.


This is the set list basically in this order, I think the meledy was maybe 1 song earlier, I was just too caught up in the moment too remember the order really.

In addition, I would definitely go see Soil and MM9 again if they came near me, I loved their stage presence and music. It's like with Slipknot I walked away as a fan of Sydonia the Australian band who supported them on the Australian tour.
