Windows 7 Phone!

So I just signed up to win a HTC Mozart Windows 7 Phone, I jumped at the opportunity to enter this contest.

Why? Because:
A) It's a free phone on the Telstra Next G network, which is an amazing network.
B) It's a HTC, I simply love their phones.
C) I have heard nothing but positive things about the Windows 7 phone OS!

Sure there is nothing wrong with my current Nokia E51 on the Telstra Next G network, and I think it's an amazing handset. But thing is it doesn't suit all of my needs, I can't easily browse the internet to check my Facebook or Twitter. It's got crap all memory I mean a 512MB memory card ain't much, especially when you have 65GB & counting of music & twice as much in video & movies. Oh and to mention I can touch type so a alpha numeric keypad is kind of a drag for me, when I would much rather a QWERTY keyboard to type with & especially since I like using full grammar and spelling with my text messages, so my friends can understand what the hell I am trying to say to them.

I reckon if I was one of the lucky people who got a chance to receive a unit to review I would most likely give it the most thorough working out of all the other lucky 24 people. What's even better is, is that the review periods is when the new World of Warcraft expansion from Blizzard drops on December 7th and I am hoping to go to a midnight launch for the expansion, so I could tweet to my hearts content & even Facebook about the event.

All & all, either way I am looking forward to the Windows 7 phone here in Australia, after all Microsoft did have Isaiah Mustafa (Old Spice guy) endorse it at a release recently, and if Windows 7 phone is good enough for Isaiah Mustafa it is good enough for anyone!

and with that I am off! I hope to be able to be writing a blog from my shiny new HTC Mozart on the Telstra Next G network in the near future!!!
